Mike Mullvain here, while looking for better and unique ways to generate traffic I’ve come across many effective and efficient techniques for example:
First, a website owner must have high quality, unique content if you want long-term, free search engine traffic. I would consider this to be the most important tip of all. Unfortunately it’s one many website owners overlook.
Second, a website owner should provide lots of: information rich, keyword-rich, useful content for the search engines and individuals to find. The reason for this is because search engines are being clogged with junk at an alarming rate. For example, it’s easy to come across a marketer who is boasting that he or she owns more than 1,000 blogs. However, the net effect is usually poor content blogs. Now consider the effect of this exponential increase in low quality blogs and websites.
Old, large, and well established sites will inevitably become more and more important and trusted by the search engines. An owner of a large, well established, high quality site is a very good investment. These days, even “…Google’s webmaster guidelines advise affiliates to publish “unique and relevant content” (Bukisa, Par 6, 2009).
If a website owner spends time thinking of ways to provide truly useful content that people will talk about, you will automatically end up with lots of free, one-way links to your site as people recommend it without even being asked to do so.
